San Carlosl, Sonora, is Cabo San Lucas 'wannabe' place going through delvelopment efforts.

This end of the bay is loaded with upscale expensive homes.

There are still pockets of poverty and shanties in clear view of what this Cabo want-to-be area.

This sizable bustling city is right next door to San Carlos and the coast.

All vehicles with USA plates on teh vehicle are supposed to be immune form the military and police harassment that used to be commonplace. The zone ends at the Soputh end of the State of Sonora.

We jumped off the highest to do a "pit stop" and get something cool to drink in this rather hot place.
